Does claiming my listing affect my CMS rating?
No. Your star rating, quality measures, and patient experience scores are determined exclusively by CMS and cannot be changed through this site.
My agency has a quality issue flag -- can I remove it?
No. We display CMS data as published. If the flag is incorrect, you should contact CMS directly to dispute the finding. We do offer a public response feature (Verified tier) where you can provide context for your CMS data.
How is RateMyHomeHealth different from other referral sites?
We do not earn referral fees or commissions from placements. We cannot recommend your agency over another -- families see all agencies sorted by CMS quality rating. See our About page for more.
What if my contact information is wrong?
Contact information displayed on your profile comes from CMS records. Claiming your listing (free) lets you add or correct your phone number, website URL, and email address.
Do paid tiers affect search ranking?
No. Paid tiers add supplemental features to your profile (verified badge, photos, public response). They never affect how your agency ranks against others. Rankings are determined solely by CMS data.
